Teams and Divisions

We have six divisions you can choose from based on the makeup of your team: 

Open: One or more team members are under 40 years. 

Masters: All team members are over 40 years. 

Corporate: At least 50% of team members are employees from the same company. This division is only available in the “Mixed” classification regardless of the mix of men and women on the team. 

Military/Public Service: At least 50% of team members are service persons (i.e. firefighter, law enforcement, military, etc.). This division is only available in the Mixed classification regardless of the mix of men and women on the team. 

High School: All team members are students between the ages of 12-18 years. This division is only available in the Mixed classification regardless of the mix of men and women on the team. 

*this division requires 2 adults of least 25 years of age to be with them for the duration of the event.

Wildcard: For teams that prefer to customize their runner lineups versus following the assigned legs. Wildcard teams enjoy the same course but opt out of competing for the top team award in each division. Please note that the Wildcard Division is only available at Road events and is not an available option at Trail events.

Regardless of the team type, division, and classification you are in, we are thrilled to see you at the race! 

You can change your Division/Classification from Team Center after your team has been created. Please note that certain races may have custom divisions, and runners should consult the Race Bible found on their specific race page for more detailed information about rules and regulations for each division and classification.

*No sub-classifications are available for this Division. Meaning, it doesn't matter the mix of men/women, all teams are listed in the Mixed Division.
